Stop Press!…Gorilla news and a storm in a teacup

June 17, 2011

Pretty cool to see my Gorilla on the front page of the Western Daily Press yesterday πŸ™‚ and also on the local news.

There was a bit more info inside…

…and this is the official photo taken by the Zoo’s photographer

They featured a selection of the designs in both cases and they all looked brilliant. The Gorillas should be out on the streets from the 4th July (mine in Millenium Square), and I’m waiting to hear if there will be any sort of opening event.

And a storm in a teacup?…just a totally random thing i found online which i just thought was so cool i had to put it up here. i was going to buy one. until i saw the price. there were 12 made in total so i will leave your imagination to do the rest of the work! lets just say i would have had to save my pocket money for a long time πŸ˜‰

This beautiful creation comes from the imagination of John Lumbus for Royal Delft and The New English. turn the handle and the waves tumble, the boat rolls and lightning strikes!

Hi Jen, glad you made it to the Cathedral, and I hope you had a lovely meal, it was a pleasure to meet you….i’m glad you liked Brains, and managed to find him! I haven’t been down yet myself so I’m looking forward to seeing him out in the open air.
      Safe travels,
      Sally
